Decent selection and service

I ordered a few bottles, including a Weißwein aus Neuseeland and a Roséwein aus Frankreich. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. Delivery took about 5 business days to reach my address in Florida, which was reasonable. Everything was packed securely, no breakage. I did have a question about one of the wines, so I emailed customer service. They got back to me within 24 hours, which was pretty good. The quality of the wines was as expected for the price. Overall, a solid experience from Vinotasia.

Mixed feelings on delivery time

I bought a Probierpaket with some Weißwein aus Deutschland and a couple of Gläser. The selection was good, and the website was easy to use to find what I wanted. Prices felt competitive for what I got. Shipping was a bit slow; it took almost a week to get to me in Texas, which was longer than I hoped. Everything was very well packaged, though, no issues with breakage. Customer service was responsive when I asked about the delay, which was a plus. The wines in the package were quite enjoyable, and the glasses were good quality. If delivery was a bit faster, it would have been a perfect experience.

Got some nice Gin

So I was looking for some good Gin for a party we were having and saw Vinotasia online. Their site looked pretty good, not too fancy. Found a nice bottle, the price seemed okay. It shipped out pretty fast, like I got it in a few days. Came in a box, all safe and sound, which was a relief. The Gin was really good too, everyone at the party liked it. Just a smooth, easy shopping trip. Would use them again for sure.

Ordered some Rotwein aus Spanien. It arrived quickly, well-packaged. The wine was delicious. Will definitely order from Vinotasia again. Simple, no fuss.

Good value on a bundle

I was looking for some good deals and found Vinotasia. I snagged one of their bundle deals on a Rotwein aus Chile package. The price was really good compared to buying individual bottles elsewhere. Shipping was free because my order was over their minimum, which always helps. The wines arrived in about 4 days, all in good shape. It felt like I got a lot for my money, which was exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely worth checking out if you're trying to save a bit.

Do they always have a first-time customer discount? Or is that just a seasonal thing?

B Brett Okafor 1 month ago
I got a first-order discount last month, so I think they usually have something for new customers. Worth checking their site banner or signing up for the newsletter.

Yeah, pretty sure it's a regular thing. I got like 10% off my first order when I signed up for their emails a while back.

What's the return policy like if I get a bottle that's corked? Is it a huge hassle?

M Marcus Hughes 1 month ago
Nah, returns are pretty straightforward. If it's corked, just contact them. They're usually good about replacing it or giving a credit.

I had to return a broken bottle once, not corked but same idea. It was pretty easy, just email them with a photo and they'll sort you out. No big drama.

Hey has anyone ordered from Vinotasia to the US before? How long does shipping usually take to like, New York?

D Dana C. 1 month ago
Vinotasia is actually a German store, so they don't ship outside of Germany for now. Might explain why you're not seeing US shipping options.

Yeah, I tried to get some wine to my cousin in California last year and their site kept saying they only ship within Germany. Bummer, they have some great stuff.

Thinking of trying Vinotasia for some German reds. Are their prices generally better than Hawesko, or is it pretty much the same ballpark?

K Kevin Bennett 2 weeks ago
From my experience, Vinotasia often has better deals on specific regional wines, especially their German selection. Hawesko can be pricier for similar bottles sometimes.

N Neil Doyle 2 weeks ago
It really depends on the specific wine you're looking at. I've found Vinotasia's clearance sales to be really good, sometimes up to 50% off, which beats Hawesko's usual discounts.
